My First Break Up on 2010-08-18
I've just experienced my first real break up with my first real boyfriend.
I know this may turn out to be an experience, but I don't really know how I should feel about it.
It was very civil. It ended on a the comment of "I love you, but we want different things", and it's true. I do love him (well, I think as far as my nineteen year old self believes love to be) and we definitely wanted different things. I can't be who he wants me to be and as it turns out, the other way around.
We lasted just shy of a year. We met September 6th 2009 and ended August 18th 2010. It wasn't that long, but hopefully it was a good first relationship. I'm pretty happy it ended this way.
But I feel so guilty.
